This is a fabulous review of Vagabondage's music!

Come see them this Friday at Big Gay Cabaret and hear for yourself the "voice [that] could turn a Christian Fundamentalist Republican into an activist for gay marriage."

This is NOT a forwarded alert. I just spent the last three hours unable to use my computer here at work because I got hit by this virus.

If you get any popup windows from a program called Spyware Protect 2009 telling you that your computer is infected with a virus, do not click on them.

Spyware Protect 2009 is actually a virus and, apparently, the more you close the popup windows it generates, the more the virus self-replicates. Windows Live One Care [the virus protection program I use] can NOT permanently kill this virus. The tech had to install a new program (Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware), run a 2 hour scan, and then run a few smaller scans in other programs before my computer was completely clean. This is a VERY tenacious and fast-spreading virus.

I had not opened any emails from unknown sources nor had I visited any unknown websites before I started seeing the symptoms of this virus. The tech told me that this virus has become fairly common and infects your computer through ads on compromised websites, so it’s entirely possible to get it from a site you visit regularly and which has previously been safe.

If your computer shows signs of having this virus and you don't feel comfortable trying to tackle the problem yourself, I recommend shutting down your computer completely and calling a tech support person asap.

Please feel free to pass this message on to anyone you think it might help.
